Message from the Auction Chair

Message From Auction Chair

The Lincoln County Rotary Student Loan Fund’s main goal is to assist Lincoln County residents in continuing their post-high school education by providing them with low-interest student loans. For the past 20 years the Rotary clubs of Lincoln County have worked together to raise funds for these loans through the Annual Auction for Education. We are in our 21st year of this event, and many Rotarians and members of our community have worked tirelessly to make the auction a success year after year. As we approach the Auction for Education, we want to offer you the opportunity to join us in our efforts. Please help us by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Lincoln County Rotary Student Loan Fund, Inc. Each gift, regardless of size, helps us reach our goal.

Our students represent a myriad of disciplines and professions. Once these students graduate, many come back to Lincoln County to contribute to our community. Everyone wins!

Rotarian will be calling you for the donation of an auction item or for you to participate financially in our Auction for Education. You might also be interested in a sponsorship. For more information or if you have not heard from us, and you are ready to donate, please contact Mort Wadsworth—704-735-1104 or Gaye Howard at 704-732-0867 to get involved!

The 21st Auction for Education will be at the James W. Warren Citizens Center, April 10, 11 & 12, 2014. Your attendance at our Auction for Education is another way you can support our cause. You will find food, fun, great deals, give-a-ways, and exclusive items that are only available to our live audience. However, if you cannot join us, our auction is televised on Charter Channel 190 & 191. We will also stream our broadcast live at ROTARYLINC.ORG all three nights so you can call in and bid from home.

If donations are received by March 27, all financial contributions exceeding $100, and all donated items valued at $150 or more will be advertised during our television broadcast. Our highly anticipated live and silent auctions feature a variety of donated items, such as vehicles, trips, consumer products, accommodations, merchandise, food certificates, professional services, game tickets, and countless other goods.

We encourage you to become a part of this annual community event in any way that you are able. Please give generously. YOU can create a lasting legacy with your contribution to the Lincoln County Rotary Student Loan Fund, Inc.
