What is a Rotary Student Loan, you might ask?  Why it’s a 3% interest loan – available for the duration of your path to a degree or trade certification.  Our loans may be used on any expenses, and are only available to Lincoln County graduates.  You won’t find another loan with these interest rates.

A BRAND NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR LINCOLN COUNTY GRADUATES!

Rotary REACH – Rotarians for Educational Access and College Help – is a scholarship for one student at each of Lincoln County’s High Schools, focusing on motivated students with 2.5-3.5 unweighted GPAs. The recipients of these scholarships are encouraging, helpful, and may benefit from a little community boost from folks who care about their education.  Visit the Loans & Scholarship tab for more information!

Our Clubs are digging a little deeper into the education process - and happy to support high school students too!

Rotary Rooted has been developed to assure every Lincoln County High School Junior / Senior has the opportunity to access Gaston College CCP/College NOW classes while enrolled in high school.

Students who need a little assistance paying for books and fees are encouraged to work with their guidance counselor/CDC to complete an application for assistance.

It is a goal of the Lincoln County Rotarian Clubs to make the path to further education attainable and as smooth as possible.

What We Do

01.

— We Meet

Our clubs meet weekly across Lincoln County to discuss community needs and events, learn from each other, broaden our knowledge base and build relationships.  Just as iron sharpens iron, we recognize that together we are much more effective than apart – and together we can accomplish great things!

02.

— We Fundraise

Every club has a local focus in addition to the broader goals of Rotary International, who has worked for years to eradicate Polio and strengthen the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Locally, we focus on education, or raising monies for local need, it depends on the year.  Regardless, when our clubs join collectively, we make great things happen.

03.

— We Fund

Our monies raised send kids to college – plain and simple.  Over $7 million loaned over the years to greater than 800 recipients… it takes a village, or in our case, a few clubs, and we are passionate about helping our graduates achieve greatness.
